Theresa will be coaching the Tuesday/Friday group from 9 am to 10 am and you can sign up for that one here.

Gearing up for more online training

For many folks out there, they don’t really need ongoing one-on-one coaching for strength training and conditioning. What they do need, however, is a road map to get them where they want to go (and someone to make course-corrections and adjustments as needed along the way)…

And that’s where online training becomes very useful.

In January, I will have space to take on a few more clients, so if you’re interested, please feel free to reach out and let me know. You can apply for the program here.

The “quick” blog post I start writing has grown into a much bigger blog post…

It all started with me seeing person after person assuming a very hollow hollow-body position to do push-ups and planks. A fairly common experience for each of them was for them to remark at how weird it felt to stabilize in a neutral spinal position.

Addressing what this means for shoulder mechanics was relatively straightforward. It still requires some coaching and ongoing mindfulness on the part of the artist-athlete, but it made for a simple explanation and was easy to implement.

The posteriorly-tilted pelvis and flattened lumbar spine part, however, is somewhat trickier. I mean, it’s one thing to coach and explain in person, but writing about it provides the opportunity to explain things a little more thoroughly…and that’s where it all gets complicated.

I know that’s a bit of a tease…but I’m working on getting this out as soon as I can.
